The popular Xbox One exclusive Forza Motorsport 6 was released to Windows 10 by Microsoft with the new Title Forza Motorsport 6 Apex and DirectX 12 support.
It got released with 63 cars and six tracks as an open beta.
What is Forza Motorsport 6?
Forza 6 was a Xbox One exclusive title and it got originally released in 2015. The game is developed by Turn 10 and it is known for its great balance of simulation and arcade racer, aswell as its great car selection.
How is the PC Port?
Forza 6 is available for free in the Windows Store of Windows 10. It is obvious that the game was simply ported to PC and not developed.
Forza 6 Apex does not support wheels and the keyboard support is not that well done. The video setting for the game lacks depth, as it only features one dial to adjust the qualityaswell as one dial for the resolution.
Microsoft makes it clear that the game is just a port to the PC and therefore the game is most enjoyable with a Xbox 360 or Xbox One controller.
Is it worth trying out?
For the people who don’t care about detailed video settings, lack of wheel and keyboard support and for the people who don’t care that the game is just a mixture of simulation and arcade and not just either of both, the game can be enjoyed as if you were playing it on the Xbox One just for free and with limited content.
The game definitely is worth trying out even if you are a simulation fan. It is fun for just casually playing around and trying some cars aswell as looking at the amazing graphics.
