Call of Duty coming to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics! Could it become reality?

The developers for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Treyarch announced that they want Call of Duty to be part of the Olympic Games. Many new disciplines are part of the Olympic Games each time. Now Treyarch thinks that ESports should be one of the new disciplines. Treyarch’s head for market development Jay Puryear talked about this topic in an interview with Daily Star. Activision making themselves popular! What have they done now after their flopped reveal?

On the 2nd of May Activision released the reveal trailer for this years Call of Duty called Infinite Warfare. The reveal wasn’t received very well at all, as it has almost 2 Million dislikes on YouTube, which makes the video one of the Top 10 most disliked Videos on YouTube.

E-Sports and Television. A good combination?

There have been several attempts to not only stream competitive online games on the Internet, but on the TV at home. Although the coverage of matches have been slim so far the demand is strangely huge. The International 2014 (Dota 2’s World Championships) has been broadcasted on ESPN 2 for half an hour. Overwatch Open Beta Extended!

The open/public beta for Blizzard’s Overwatch has almost come to an end. But Blizzard came up with the news that the beta will not end tomorrow (9th of May).
